guestbook

Hi, I am a novice in php (and new on this forum). I tried to get the guestbook working and it works until i want to submit a message onto it. The "data/list.txt" file doesn't unlock:
<Warning: flock() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in add.php on line 208>
I tried a number of things (like changing the '2' in the " flock($fp,2);" into a '1') but nothing seems to work.
Anyone have any good ideas?

Hello Weg, welcome to DigiOz.

Please make sure to set the permission on the "/data" directory and each of the files inside of it to CHMOD 777. To do so, connect through your FTP Software and right click on the folder, choose properties and check all check boxes for Read, Write and Execute.
