DigiOz Guestbook 1.8.0 has been released. Below is a summary of changes included in this release of the Guestbook. We would like to thank all of you Developers who contributed to this project since the beginning, as well as all the users who actively provided feedback to us and guided the project with their constant support.
Here is an overview of changes done as part of this release:
- Guestbook Data Storage Format Changed from Serialized Object to XML Format (UTF-8)
- Search Page has been completely rewritten to support XML Data Format
- Ascify Email Address to prevent spam to individual email addresses
- New Email display setting has been added to make the displaying of email optional
- Full UBB Code is now supported in the guestbook.
- New CSS based Template system added to guestbook.
- Admins now able to Edit Guestbook Entries in addition to delete them.
- Admin Panel Menu Link back disappear bug fix.
- Added JavaScript to apply UBB code to highlighted text if applicable.
- Following Notices were resolved as part of new version:
* Undefined variable: 0 in admin/view.php
* Undefined index Logged_in in admin/login.php
* Undefined variable cSpam in functions.php
* Undefined variable "error" in add.php
* Session already started in header.php
* Undefined Variable search_results in search.php
* Undefined index "page" in search.php
- Resolved guestbook display issue for non ASCII characters
- Guestbook Admin now has the ability to make Name or Message optional in addition to Email
- ReCaptcha Image Verification is now supported in addition to basic image verification
