guestbook include on 2 pages one site

I've made my website in 2 languages : dutch and english. So I made a guestbook page in the dutch section and a guestbook page in the english section. Is it possible to include the guestbook in these 2 pages, in Dutch on the dutch site page and in english on the english site page?

Shoot me if I've asked something stupid! :roll: :lol:

Hey Mona,

Are you trying to keep 2 different sets of entries, or just 1? The reason I ask this is because if you reference the same data file from both instances of the guestbook then some of the entries will show in English and some in Dutch, depending on what language the users entered the entry in.

Maybe it's better to keep 2 different entry sets, so the readers don't have to scroll through 2 languages at the same time.

In that case all you have to do is to install the guestbook into two separate directories and configure each for a different language.

1. Download the guestbook zip file from here:

www.digioz.com/downloads/php/guestbook.zip

2. Right-Click on the zip file and choose "Extract Here".

3. Connect to your web server using FTP Software.

4. create two new directories called "guestbook" and "guestbook2" on your web server in your public_html folder.

5. Upload a copy of the extracted local folder into each of those two folders.

6. Set Permission on the data folder and all the files inside it to "777".

7. Enjoy the guestbook!
