Guestbook message not getting saved

i have the problem that the messages not will be saved on the website
can someone help me so i can use it in a good way

Please make sure that you give the "gastenboek/data" directory and all the files inside it such as "gastenboek/data/list.txt" Read/Write/Execute permission (CHMOD 777).

i have set all the files on 777 but it still won`t work
i dont know what is wrong
this is he message i get from core ftp

site CHMOD 777 message_spam.log: command not understood

i put the file in maybe someone can check it for me?

What Software are you using to do this? Is this an FTP Software?

If you have SSH access try issuing the command there. Also try 755 instead of 777 and see if that makes a difference.

Lastly check the file owner to make sure your user is the file owner for the data files.

If this doesn't work open a ticket with your web host and ask them to CHMOD the files for you. It sounds like you are using the wrong software to CHMOD the files.
